The Story Of Ireland is a major landmark series from BBC Northern Ireland examining the history of Ireland and its impact on the wider world, from the earliest times right up to the present day.

This compelling five-part series, which was originally shown on BBC One Northern Ireland, begins on Monday 16 May at 7pm on BBC Two.

The series is written and presented by BBC correspondent Fergal Keane.
