BBC One commits to nightly pan-UK show
Peter Fincham, Controller, BBC One, today announced that The One Show will
return to BBC One next year.
The live nightly show, an engaging mix of interviews, factual features and
topical stories from across the UK, made its debut on BBC One last August and
proved a hit with BBC One viewers.
When The One Show returns presenters Adrian Chiles and Nadia Sawalha will
introduce items from around the UK including features from Birmingham and
Bristol, current affairs items from Manchester and consumer stories from
Cardiff.

around the UK.
Nations and regions continue to play the central role in The
One Show and current affairs will also be an essential part of the mix, with
reports and investigations every week.
Peter Fincham said: "The One Show brings something special and distinctive to
the audience throughout the UK - a programme which truly reflects their
lives.
"I'm delighted to make it a regular fixture in the schedule next year."
