Lucy Montgomery biography

 

After university at Cambridge, where she was a member of the Footlights, Lucy trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

 

She began her comedy career at the Edinburgh Fringe and as part of comedy trio Population:3 she co-wrote and co-starred in three Fringe hits: The Elephant Woman, The Wicker Woman and Gladiatrix, which went on to successful national tours and a West End transfer for The Elephant Woman.

 

Lucy is a regular performer for Radio 4. Past credits include The Department, The Museum of Everything, Another Case of Milton Jones, The Party Line, The Pits, Harry Hill's Ghost of a Christmas Present, Dawn French's series Mastering The Universe, Robin and Wendy's Wet Weekends and Down the Line.

 

She has also written and performed regularly on Radio 1's The Milk Run.

 

Television appearances include Don't Watch That, Watch This!; the second series of The Mighty Boosh; AD/BC: A Rock Opera; 28 Acts in 28 Minutes; The Robinsons; Killing Time (all for the BBC); Channel 4's The Friday Night Project; Blackout ; Bo'Selecta!; Law of the Playground; Swinging and the forthcoming MTV series Strutter.
