Fame
Academy - Gary Phelan is expelled
Gary Phelan last night (Wednesday 20 August) became the fourth student
to be expelled from the Fame Academy.
It
was another evening of exciting performances on BBC ONE but, as
always, at the end of the live showdown, one student had to bid
farewell to the academy and the dream of a record contract.
This
time, it was 21-year-old Northumberland lad Gary.
Following
the result of the public vote, Gary, Simone and Louise were left
on the stage to face the teacher and student votes.
Louise
was saved by the teachers' vote - for the third time - and Simone
was saved by her fellow students, also
for the third time.
Gary
is the fourth person to be expelled from The Academy, following
Lorna, Nick and Audley.
Afterwards
he said he was "gutted".

All the

the new free-to-view digital terrestrial television service, as well
as on satellite and cable. Freeview
offers the BBC's eight television channels, interactive services
from BBCi, as well as 11 BBC radio networks.
