Oga Yakubu Mohammed wey be Member of parliament for Ahafo Ano Southeast for di kontris Ashanti Region dey captured inside one viral video wen im dey address di group of school children wey visit di parliament house for excursion.
Di 37-year-old first-time lawmaker bin dey motivate di children say dem fit become anytin dem wan be for future if dem study hard.
But along di line, oga Yakubu Mohammed bin stop to ask one girl, "wetin be your name? you, di one wey dey stand for dia, wetin be your name?"
Afta di girl bin respond, di MP tok say "you be very beautiful, wen you grow up, I go marry you. She be my wife. For future, I go marry her, she also go become MP."
Di comments don trigger condemnation across social media as pipo dey call out di lawmaker ova di "sexual and pedophilic comments."
Social media users bin dey put pressure say make im resign, odas dey tok say make im political party di National Democratic Congress (NDC) call am out and issue apology.
For some pipo, parliament gatz take immediate action against di lawmaker.
Reaction to di sexual comments
Human Rights groups and oda citizens say di behaviour of di lawmaker dey unacceptable.
One Human Rights advocate Rev. Hornam Adzraku-Kevi tok say di kontri gatz promote young women and girls to take leadership places no be to dey "objectify dem as sex objects or marriage tools."
"Women no be only image of sex, and marriage – for Ghana hia we get many women wey bin rise to become lawmakers, politicians, Chief Justice, speaker of parliament and oda ogbonge positions, dat be wetin we gatz push, no be to project women as sex objects," she tok to local network Channel One TV.
Rev. Hornam Adzraku-Kevi also say "men for no tink about women only as marriage materials, dat be di wahala we get for dis kontri. Dis narrative wey dey paint women as only marriage material dey affect our young girls."

Sarah Djosu also write on top her social media say "dis be so wrong, whether di MP tok am as joke or not. Dis be inappropriate, we no fit normalise comments wey sexualise children. Public figures gatz know beta."
Ebenezer Afanyi Dadzie also tok say "di sad part be say di MP no even sabi how wrong dis be sake of how we don sexualise women and girls for our society."

'I regret my words' - MP Yakubu react
Ghana Gender ministry and parliament no yet respond to di backlash.
But Inside one apology letter to di public, Yakubu Mohammed bin tok say "di comment no be to harm, disrespect, embarrass or discomfort di pupil, her family and school authorities."
"I acknowledge say di comment be in appropriate sake of e dey involve pickin."
Di MP also add say "I regret my choice of words. And apologise to di relevant authorities, di pupil, her parents, her family and di public."
"As MP, I sabi di responsibility of my words and public conduct. I dey committed to protect and respect di dignity, welfare and rights of every child."
