Danny Mullan's

This photo was taken in Danny Mullan's Bar, Limavady . We think it was made in the late 1940's and shows William Henry Moore on the left. We don't know who the man is in the centre. But the smiling person serving the porter is the owner, Danny Mullan Senior.

Apparently this was William's favourite "watering hole", so much so, that the photo hangs above the bar in his memory.

Granddaughters

The public house is now run by Danny's son, also called Danny, and whilst we were there his daughter Danielle was serving behind the bar. Danielle is a teacher and was helping during her summer holidays. So here was an opportunity to re-enact the old photo with the two granddaughters across the very same bar where their grandfathers stood fifty or more years before.
