Dromara Vintage Day 2002 - Page 2
It wasn't all agricultural equipment and for
a touch of nostalgia and a look back to when some
of us qualified as 'boy racers' there was enough
to be going on with... The famous Mk1 Consul Cortina
like new.. a lovingly restored Ford Escort Mexico
- what year was that? - and an original Mk1 RS2000
in truly fabulous order. |
How nice to see a 'proper' VW Beetle, a car
its owner is clearly most proud of. Nearby a rip-roaring
Westfield 89 two-seater is sporting a rather large
Vauxhall engine - strictly for the fresh air fiend
and certainly not for the faint hearted. The proud
owner and chief passenger standing alongside one
of the great classics, the much loved Morris Minor,
the car that goes for ever. |

YOUR RESPONSES
Pete Appleton - December '04
I am trying to find a ford escort mk1 and I have no results
and I want to know where I will be able to buy one at a reasonable
price. I am currently restoring a 1964 mg 1100 5 door. Iwould
like to know where I would be able to find a drivers front
wing for a reasonable price. Thank you for your time. Pete.
