Recommended using two 30-40 minute teaching periods, a back-to-back session is ideal. It is important to encourage the pupils to stay on task by concentrating solely on the Troubles section
Pupils should be equipped with a clear instruction on how to access and navigate the site and a well-defined work sheet.
The worksheet should include an opportunity for the pupils:
· To note key dates on a timeline
· Add key names to a personality list or who's who
· Check technical words such as republican and UDA using and generating their own glossary of terms
