Alan Crawford
Alan Crawford

Alan Crawford was born in Glasgow and moved to Belfast with his family three years later. He studied English Literature and Film in London and Belfast. After graduating, Alan took himself off to the "land of the free, home of the brave", and for the next several years he had great adventures working throughout America. Alan returned home just before the year 2000 to find Jo, his true muse whom he fell in love with and married in 2002.

Poetry Lands on the Page by Alan Crawford

                  Poetry lands on the page
Will it help or will it rage
                       A storm within me,
Will it cause an empty death and a psalm
Or will it fall gently and calm.
                   Will you fall into my
                     Arms with grace
                     As easy as this
               Poetry lands on the page.
