Record producer Paul Moessl's first TV commission was the BBC Four drama, "Who Killed Mrs De Ropp?" Based on three short stories by Saki, its visual style mixes realism with cut-out/silhouette style animation.
To write music that covered such a diverse stylistic range was quite a challenge for any first time TV composer.
