Something to shout about... Museums say you can be as loud as you like!

Pssst, you don't have to whisper in all museums and art galleries anymore.

That's thanks to a campaign called 'Kids Aloud'.

It has encouraged more than 60 venues across the UK to sign up to having set hours for children to explore art, culture and to be really creative.

And also, to express themselves and be as noisy as they like. Even in places where you usually have to be pretty quiet.

It's not about shouting at the top of your lungs but it's all about being yourself.

Laughing, chatting, asking questions and sharing your opinions are all part of the fun.

The person in charge of the Kids Aloud campaign said: "It's the summer holidays, kids are allowed in museums, they're also allowed to make a noise.

"They're allowed to do things. They're allowed to be creative, even messy – all of that is part of just getting the museum habit."

And other people have supported the idea, like former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq.

Konnie said the idea was a "no-brainer" as she explained it is a good idea to get everyone interested in culture and art.
