Harry Styles has been awarded a Gold Blue Peter Badge in recognition of his musical career and for inspiring young people.

Harry was recently awarded a Guinness World Record for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley after performing 12 concerts in a row at London's Wembley stadium.

The badge was presented to the global superstar by Blue Peter presenter Shini Muthukrishnan backstage at his record-breaking 12th Wembley show.

"I grew up watching Blue Peter and I never thought I would get one of these...This might be my proudest achievement," he said.

The Gold Blue Peter Badge is given to people to celebrate and recognise their extraordinary achievements.

Previous people who have been honoured with the badge include Marcus Rashford, Sir David Attenborough, Sky Brown and King Charles.

Harry said: "I grew up watching Blue Peter and I never thought I would get one of these.

"If you're watching Blue Peter that means you could have one of these, one day as well."
