Norway took the lead, but it was Bellingham's brilliant display that secured England the win.

There was little action from Norway's star striker Erling Haaland, who eventually was subbed off.

England will now face Argentina in the semi-finals on Wednesday.

In the hot and humid conditions England fell behind after 36 minutes, when a cross-come-shot by Andreas Schjelderup's deceived England's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to fly in.

Just before half-time England scored, when Anthony Gordon's perfect pass led to a goal by Jude Bellingham, to beat Norway keeper Orjan Nyland.

In the second half, Norway thought they'd got the lead, but it was ruled out for Erling Haaland's shove on Elliot Anderson.

England needed to do something and once again it was Jude Bellingham with the decisive goal. Three minutes in extra time Bellingham stepped up again, pouncing on the ball after Nyland could only push out a shot from substitute Morgan Rogers.

Bellingham is now on six goals at this World Cup.

Though there were over 25 minutes following Bellingham's goal, Norway couldn't find a response and their star striker Haaland was subbed off.
