'Fed up' with silver Hunt wins Britain's first gold at European Championships

It's been silver after silver for sprinter Amy Hunt but she's finally won her first individual senior international title at the European Athletics Championships.
She told BBC sport: "I have had such a string of silvers and I was starting to get a bit fed up with it, so I thought it was time for gold."
And gold it was in the 100m with a time of 11 seconds.
It was Britain's second medal on the opening day of action after also winning silver in the mixed 4x400m relay.

Amy Hunt said she "knew I could come away with gold."
Her parents gifted her a paid of gold earrings ahead of the race to "finally level up", because she usually wear silver jewellery.
"They said it was time for gold - they left me that note two nights ago - so it made me quite emotional.
"It was definitely time for me to come of age here," she said.
