The BIG Question - Why do humans laugh?
The class's joke beat hundreds of other entries from schools around the UK.
As a prize, the pupils and their teacher Bethan Crowe will be drawn in the Beano comic. Bethan was also named Britain's funniest teacher.
"It's absolutely adorable when you have 32 children just giggling and we thought we've got to use this one, it's so wholesome," she said.
Jack, the pupil who came up with the joke, said he "just thought really hard and then came up with" it.
He also said: "I don't really like onion rings that much."
His classmate Alexis said she "couldn't believe it" and felt "speechless" when they won.
Beano's Mike Stirling, whose job title is Director of Mischief, said: "The winning joke was inventive and genuinely hilarious. Clearly, the future of comedy is in safe hands with Boyce class."
