Have you ever wished you could meet a real-life astronaut and find out a bit more about life in space?

Well that's exactly what nine-year-old Sadie got to do with Nasa astronaut and Artemis II Capsule Communicator Dr Stanley G Love.

Last year Sadie decided to write to people involved in the Artemis mission - which aims to return humans to the Moon.

To her surprise, she got a response back from astronaut Dr Stanley G Love, who now works at Nasa's Mission Control Center, talking directly to astronauts in space.

But now she's had one thing better than a letter - a video chat with the astronaut himself.

Sadie - who wants to be an astronaut when she's older - told Dr Love that she loved watching the Artemis mission in action.

She said: "It was amazing, just to see a rocket go up."

Dr Love said: "Part of our job as astronauts it to inspire the next generation of space explorers, and what better way than to respond to a kid with honest questions and honest curiosity about the universe we live in."

He was also really happy that he got to speak with Sadie, as he says "often I send these letters off into the vacuum and I never hear anything back".

In her original letter to Nasa, Sadie asked important questions like "Do you have any BFFs?" and "Are there aliens in space?".

Dr Stanley G Love was able to reveal a bit more about what life is like at Nasa.

"All the people on a spacecraft crew are each other's BFFs", Stanley replied.

He also said that nobody really knows if there are aliens in space, but that he "didn't see any on our flight".
