In the Premier Division, second-placed Needham Market, external went down 4-3 at Worthing, AFC Sudbury, external lost 2-0 at Burgess Hill Town while it finished Lowestoft Town, external 0-1 Metropolitan Police.

Bury Town, external were beaten 1-0 at Waltham Abbey in the North Division.

Leiston's, external trip to Merstham was postponed.

Bury St Edmunds, external rugby players picked up a deserved losing bonus point from Saturday's 10-3 defeat at rain-lashed Redruth.

Despite it being the Wolfpack's eighth defeat in nine matches, it was their best performance for some time, showing all of the passion and commitment captain Tom Rock had demanded.

Bury remain 11th in National League Two South ahead of next week's home game against Chinnor.

Brandon Marshall, 15, from Bury St Edmunds, already has to sleep diagonally in his king-size bed "to give him more space" says his mum.

Lynne Quelch said her son, who measured 6ft 11.5in (2.11 m) at the weekend, has got "no chance" of finding a bicycle to fit.

She added: "The next one [challenge] will be learning to drive a car... it'll have to be a big jeep of some sort, something with a bit of leg-room."

Brandon's sporting passion is basketball, and Lynne said: "His dream is to be talent-spotted and go off to the States and live his dream."

Returning to the story of mental health, which is featuring on Panorama on BBC One at 20:30 this evening....

Nearly a quarter of beds have been closed at the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, external in four years, and the trust has seen nearly double the amount of unexpected deaths. 

Sophie Gathercole has a personality disorder and has hallucinations. She tried to take her own life four times before she got an in-patient bed.

Her parents, Alison and Simon, live in Norwich. Her mother says she felt "huge relief" when her daughter was finally admitted to hospital. 

"I felt the responsibility of keeping her safe had been taken away from me and somebody else was responsible," she said.

Dad Simon describes it as a "living nightmare" dealing with someone with mental health problems - "to see someone you love in a hopeless state and not really being able to help".

Her parents say staff at the hospital are doing all they can to help her, but say it's "almost a little bit too late".

The chief executive of Ipswich Hospital has responded to figures obtained by the BBC which reveal that they had 100% occupancy of beds between 1 December and 22 January, saying: "These people are being looked after by clinicians and every day we look at where is the safest place.

Nick Hulme (pictured) added: "In an ideal world of course we'd like 85% occupancy - that hasn't been delivered for years and years and years."

NHS guidelines say the maximum level which is considered to be safe is 85%.

The number of patients on hospital wards here in the county has been above the level deemed to be "safe", according to figures obtained by the BBC.

The data, which covers the period 1 December 2016 to 22 January 2017, shows:

• 100% occupancy at Ipswich Hospital, external
• 97% at the West Suffolk Hospital, external in Bury St Edmunds
• 93% at the James Paget Hospital, external in Gorleston, which serves patients in the north of the county

The maximum level which is considered to be safe is 85%.

A woman has died following a collision in on Sunday.

Police were called just before 10:50 to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Bardwell Road in Bardwell near Bury St Edmunds.

The woman, who had been driving a Vauxhall Corsa which was in collision with a Ford Galaxy, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, external features on the BBC Panorama programme tonight as part of its investigation into the state of mental health services.

It's being used as an example of how spending cuts forced a major reorganisation.

The Reverend Canon Paul Daltry, who runs the Ipswich Winter Night Shelter, external for homeless people where some have mental health issues, says the cuts put pressure on them.

Theresa May also said that there's not enough help for those suffering from mental health problems. 

Mental health trusts have been seeing reductions in their budgets. The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, external was the first in the country to implement a major restructure in 2013. 

Frontline community teams were disbanded, and experienced staff laid off.

The trust closed 136 beds, which means patients are still being sent hundreds of miles away to get a bed, despite promises to stop the practice. 

It also means more people are being treated in the community.

Over the same four-year period, the number of unexpected deaths almost doubled. 

Other trusts across the country are also thinking about restructuring their services.

The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, external says it did it in response to a 20% savings target. But over the same period, the number of unexpected deaths almost doubled.

The King's Fund, external, which describes itself as an "independent charity working to improve health and care" says the mistakes made should be a warning to other mental health trusts across England.

World indoor bowls winner Katherine Rednall has won the National Champion of Champions, external event at Hayling Island.

She then beat Katherine Hawes 21-10 to win the event for a third time.
