    One parent at Hillocks Primary School told BBC Radio Nottingham: "This is a brilliant school, the teachers are brilliant, the families are brilliant, brilliant everything.

    A BP garage on the site of East Midlands Airport is being used by people to drop off and pick up airport passengers to avoid paying the car park charges.

    Operator of the garage, HSK, says it is becoming a problem with all motorists and taxi drivers using their forecourt and they're working with the airport to resolve it.

    It now costs you £2 to park at East Midlands Airport's rapid drop-off car park for 10 minutes.

    After that, it will cost you £1 for every extra minute you stay.

    Some taxi firms are unhappy about the increase and Karen Simpson from Premier Cars, which specialises in airport transfers, says they will have to pass on the extra costs onto their customers.

    It's going to cost you more to drop off your friends and family at the airport now.

    From the start of this month, the price of using East Midlands Airport's rapid drop-off area went up from £1 to £2.

    A woman is spending 50 hours locked inside a glass box at Tesco in Beeston to help raise awareness of autism. 

    Lisa Males went into the box at midday yesterday and apart from short comfort breaks, she'll be in there until Saturday afternoon.

    A total of 173,918 votes were cast in the PCC elections in Nottinghamshire yesterday.

    Here's a breakdown of the turnout figures:

    The headteacher at Hillocks Primary School in Sutton-in-Ashfield said the problem was "isolated" and they sent out the text because they wanted their children and other parents to "feel safe" on site.

    Louise Regan said: "We are not sitting in judgement, and I'm sure a lot of people will have a drink at lunchtime, but we are raising concerns raised by our school community and we think it is very important we share information so that they know what's happening."

    She said they had received a positive response from parents and she hoped others would listen and support them.
