While there have been A LOT of trophy parades from the Boys in Blue in recent times, they won't be like this afternoon's.

And that's because it's time to say goodbye to the architect of much of City's success.

Manager Pep Guardiola's legacy will echo through time, writes our chief football writer Phil McNulty.

This piece is a lovely bit of writing - and well worth a read!

Manchester city centre is buzzing with energy ahead of the party, with many people already walking the streets in City blue underneath a sunny sky of the same hue.

In the words of the weather forecaster from The Fast Show a few years ago... today is going to be... Scorchio!

Manchester City are a club that have seen a huge amount of success over the last few years and this season has been no different.

While the men's side were pipped to the Premier League title by Arsenal, they still lifted two bits of silverware, winning the League Cup in March and adding the FA Cup a couple of weeks ago.

The women's side went one better in the league, ending Chelsea's run of six titles in a row by winning the Women's Super League. They are also in contention for a double, as they face Brighton in the Women's FA Cup final on 31 May.

And the academy side added to the celebrations by lifting their fifth FA Youth Cup after beating rivals Manchester United in the final.
