A "very large" water main has burst in Kingswood near Bristol, causing very poor pressure or no water in Kingswood, Warmley, Cadbury Heath, Longwell Green and Oldland Common
So far seven schools in the area have announced they are closed, affecting thousands of pupils
Bristol Water confirmed 9,291 properties were initially affected by the burst main on Tenniscourt Road and after crews worked on the issue, this has now left 4,570 homes impacted.
Bristol Water has announced that water stations have been put in place in two locations

Bristol Water has issued another statement.
A spokesperson says: "Our teams have set up a bottled water hub for customers affected by the burst at Asda Longwell Green, Craven Way, Barrs Court, Bristol BS30 7DY.
"Bottled Water is also being delivered to our priority service customers, starting with our most vulnerable customers on the register."
Water bowsers have been set up elsewhere for residents to collect supplies.

I’m here at the top of Tenniscourt Road where the road is being dug up outside a care home.
There is only a small crew on the scene at the moment, a Bristol Water van and some machinery.
The school next door is silent and lots of cars are turning around as they reach the road closure.
A water station for residents to stock up on bottled water has been set up.

This is the current scene on Tenniscourt Road in Kingswood as Bristol Water crews work to fix the burst main that has led to so much disruption this morning.

Lynne Westcott, who lives in Warmley, is worried about how long residents will be left without water.
The 74-year-old says: "Myself and others in Warmley are elderly and have health issues. How long will we be without water?"
We are waiting to hear more updates from Bristol Water.

A statement on Facebook says: "Apologies for the late notice but we have no running water at the pre-school so we cannot operate without flushing toilets and facilities for washing hands."
Constance, who lives in Cadbury Heath, says it was "really strange" to wake up to no water this morning.
"I’m checking updates online constantly," she said.
"I work from home, so I am really hoping people are able to get it fixed soon."
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School in Kingswood has also announced that it is closed today.
That takes the total of schools closed to five.
We received this statement from Bristol Water earlier:
"We have been made aware of a large burst main on Tennis Court Road.
"This is causing very poor pressure or no water to properties in Kingswood, Warmley, Cadbury Heath, Longwell Green & Oldland.
"Our crew are on site investigating. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience while we work on this repair."

According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the burst main has led to Tenniscourt Road being partially blocked.
This is causing slow traffic between Brook Road and the A420 Hill Street.
We now know of four schools that are closed across South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
King's Forest Primary School in Bristol has also confirmed it will close today, alongside King's Oak Academy in Kingswood, Digitech Academy in Bristol and Sir Bernard Lovell Academy in Oldland Common.
Two high schools have announced they will be shut today due to the burst water main.
Cabot Learning Federation, which runs King's Oak Academy in Kingswood and Digitech Academy in Bristol, confirmed that thousands of students will have to stay home.
Sir Bernard Lovell Academy in Oldland Common, which has more than 1,200 pupils, is also closed.
Bristol Water said the burst main is on Tenniscourt Road in Kingswood.
However, due to the extent of the burst, the issue extends further to Warmley, Cadbury Heath, Longwell Green and Oldland.
Residents living across parts of Bristol and South Gloucestershire have woken up to no water or poor pressure this morning due to a "very large" burst main on Tenniscourt Road in Kingswood, Bristol Water says.
