Olive & Murphy met at Burtonwood

Olive was working at Marks & Spencers and Murphy was at Burtonwood during two tours of duty (47 - 52 and 57 - 61) when they met.

They were married in February 1950.

Olive and 3 of her friends all married American G.I.s

The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1999

Olive & Murphy now live in San Bernardino, California... A fair cry from Warrington!
