How
did you feel when you found out you got Sharon as your judge?
"I was very excited to get to bootcamp. There was a lot of
very talented singers there. I felt ok when I saw Sharon was my
judge, but to be honest looking back now I think I might have faired
better with Simon or Louis as Sharon does seem to like 'rock singers'."
What
was bootcamp like?
"The
days at bootcamp were extremely long, we had to meet in reception
at 7.00am (with all my suitcases packed in case we were sent home!)
and we did not get back until nearly midnight.
"I
found that the days were very emotionally draining. I was really
pleased to make the cut to the final 14 people in my age group.
I was absolutely gutted when I was knocked out as I didn't forget
the words to my song (though a lot did!)"
What
did you sing for Sharon?
"I sang 'Hero' on day one and on day two I had to sing 'Don't
Let The Sun Go Down On Me' by Elton John. I sing this song in my
cabaret act, so luckily I alread knew the words and didn't have
to learn it overnight!"
How
did you feel when you were knocked out - and missed out on a trip
to Beverly Hills?! "Well at least I know that I gave my best performance.
I didn't know about the trip to Beverly Hills until I watched on
Saturday night. Gutted!"
How's life been in Blackpool since you've been on the telly?
"The support that I have had in Blackpool has been tremendous
and everyone has been really supportive. And looking on the positive
side, I am now available for work - so if anybody needs a Cabaret
Artist just let me know!"
