About the author
Dr Aidan Dodson is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Bristol, where he teaches Egyptology. A specialist in Egyptian funerary archaeology, he has lectured widely and written extensively. Some of his most recent works include The Hieroglyphs of Ancient Egypt (Barnes & Noble, 2001) and The Pyramids of Ancient Egypt: A Handbook (New Holland), released in 2003.
