Main achievements so far:

7th Junior Europeans, 7th under-23 Senior Europeans, reserve for Beijing Olympics 2008 in under 63kg, British junior No. 1 and British senior No. 1, British Universities Champion, part of the Development squad for London 2012 for three years.

Future goals:

Short-term: To win an under-23 Senior European medal, and placings at Senior A Tournaments.
Long-term: To win a Senior European and World title, represent GB in London 2012, and compete for a medal.

Kate ready to compete for her country

Thoughts on 2012:

The Olympics at London in 2012 will have an impact on every person living in Great Britain. It is such an amazing, and once in your lifetime, opportunity to host such a grand event, and I can't wait to be part of it, and represent proudly my country for my sport. It has been a life-long ambition for me, an ultimate goal, and to think I have got the chance to participate in the world's greatest sporting event has motivated me and excited me more than ever. I also look forward to how London will show the world and present to them the Olympic games and the beauty and the traditions this country has to offer.

At London 2012 I'd like to:

To be able to search inside myself, and know and believe I have prepared to the best I possibly could, giving me the realistic opportunity to not just turn up, but to compete with the world's best. I want to be able to gather unforgettable memories and experiences, that I will keep forever and be able to tell for years on. I would like to talk and be among the best athletes in the world in all sports, watch them compete at their events and be part of a great sporting and hopefully winning atmosphere for team GB!
