  2. Reaction to First Blood!published at 17:36 BST 15 October 2015

  3. First blood to Origen!published at 17:35

Origen's bottom lane crush their opponents in a 2 on 2. In high level play it's more rare to see laners kill their opposition by themselves without the junglers as they are so evenly matched in terms of skill but Mithy and Niels find an opening to secure first blood.

  5. Quiet on the riftpublished at 17:33

The map that the teams are playing on is called 'Summoners Rift' or just 'The Rift' for short. At the start of the game, both teams decide to play defensively.

  6. We're off!published at 17:31

  7. Champion Selectionpublished at 17:31 BST 15 October 2015

    Picks and bans

The Flash Wolves target out xPeke in the mid lane with a Twisted Fate ban, a strong pick but not one that would be banned out against every player.

FW's draft a strong teamfighting composition as well as the LeBlanc. A strong assassin mage who excels are instantly dropping enemy champions in a split second.

Origen lock in their final pick, Anivia. A champion that doesn't see play often but if played well, can turn the side of a battle with her high burst damage and "Crystallize" ability which creates impassable terrain which will allow xPeke to control the movement of the Flash Wolves.

  8. There's a lorra, lorra love for Origen out therepublished at 17:31

Maybe it's because the EU team are playing in their home continent, but there's definitely a lot of fans sharing their fandom for Origen right now.

Flash Wolves fan? You know what to do! (Hint: it involves using the hashtag #bbcesports)

  9. Change in the gamepublished at 17:30

    Patching up League of Legends

Every few weeks the game is tweaked in different ways ranging from small changes to character abilities to huge sweeping changes that change the landscape of the game.

These changes are commonly called a "patch" and will be distributed to every person who plays the game.

  10. How do today's teams match up?published at 17:25

LMS's Flash Wolves vs. EU LCS's Origen

The Flash Wolves astonished the world when they took first place out of their group as the Taiwanese region is not generally considered to be on par with the other major regions but both individually and as a team, the Flash Wolves stepped up their game.

Today against Origen, it's going to be a completely different ball game. Origen's top laner "Soaz" has proven to be one of the strongest top laners in Europe and even though Steak, FW's top laner, has improved dramatically, Soaz will be tough competition to take on.

The mid lane is likely to be more equal. Something about being at a World Championship activates something in xPeke, Origen's mid laner. Up against Maple from FW, the mid lane should be extremely close.

In the bottom lane FW's haven't blown away the opposition but OG's Niels and Mithy are considered by experts to be one of the strongest pairings at Worlds. That being said, Swordart has been on point so far and won't go down without a fight.

  14. The 'best of the best'published at 17:09

Teams from every region around the world have been competing over the last year to get the chance to be here at Wembley. Today the Taiwanese team Flash Wolves take on European powerhouse Origen in a Best of 5. Each match varies in length from 20 minutes to even 80 minutes, but on average a game will last around 40. Either way, we're going to be here for a while so make yourself comfortable!

  15. Who are you supporting?published at 17:06

We bumped into three fans from Glasgow - Jason, Stuart and Craig - who have come down for all four days of the Quarter-Finals.

They say they're big Fnatic fans (who are playing on Saturday), but today Jason and Stuart are supporting Origen ("because they're an EU team"), while Craig is rooting for the Flash Wolves.

Tell us whose side you're on using the hashtag #bbcesports.

  16. Group Dpublished at 16:59

    Au revoir group stages

    KT Rolster

KT Rolster advance to the quarter finals with 5 wins and only 1 loss. This was achieved with their strong player talent and general smart strategy. Usually their player Ssumday steals the limelight with his outstanding play but every member on KT Rolster pulled together to make it out of Group D in first place.

    Origen

Europe’s third seed Origen managed to take second place with a 4:2 record. The team features their team captain xPeke as well as new comer Niels to the line-up. In half a year Origen made it through the amateur scene to qualify for LCS and from there entered the European’s regional qualifier for Worlds taking first place and earning bringing them to London!

  17. Group Cpublished at 16:56

    Au revoir group stages

    SKTelecom T1

Korea’s SKTelecom T1 are the strong favourites for the entire tournament and came first out of their group with a flawless 6:0 record. They won the world championships back in 2013 but failed to qualify last year.  This year SKTelecom T1 return with their star player Faker, a player who many consider to be one of the bes,t if not the best player in the world.Edward Gaming

Edward Gaming are another favourite to make the Finals this year. Hailing from China, Edward Gaming were the first team from their region and claimed the second seed from Group C behind SKTelecom T1. Edward Gaming's players Pawn and Clearlove have looked especially impressive during the Group Stage. They'll be facing Fnatic in the Quarter Finals, a series which is likely to go the full length with the results both teams have shown so far.

  18. Group Bpublished at 16:55

    Au revoir group stages

    FNATIC

Fnatic had a somewhat shaky first week but during Week 2 they looked like a well-oiled machine and took first place going into the Quarter Finals. In the European leagues, Fnatic did not lose a single game in the entirety of Summer and were undefeated until the finals where they lost two games to Origen in a Best of 5. Fnatic owes a lot of this success to the team captain Yellowstar who led an entirely new roster, including two Korean imports, at the start of the year to the 2015 World Championships.AHQ

AHQ scrape through groups winning a tie breaker against Cloud 9 to join Fnatic out of Group B. AHQ’s Westdoor has become the face of the team but when it comes to winning games, the team pours all of their available resources into their Marksman AN. With exceptional mechanical skill at the game, AN can easily defeat an enemy team if AHQ help keep him alive.

    FLASH WOLVES

Every team in Group A were truly locked in with the Wolves. Coming from the Taiwanese region, the Flash Wolves have previously not achieved results at international events but this year at Worlds the Wolves showed up. Flash Wolve's player Steak used to simply be known for an eccentric hair style but when he arrived - he arrived! Combined with the efforts of team mates Karsa and Maple, the Flash Wolves become a serious threat and took first place out of Group A.KOO TIGERS

Earlier in the year  KOO Tigers looked like the strongest team in Korea ahead of even SKTelecom T1. However at the event, KOO Tigers never found their footing and following the event, just didn’t look the same. Now at the World Championships, KOO Tigers are regaining some of their former power.  The Koo Tigers claimed second place behind the Flash Wolves and will be facing fellow Korean team KT Rolster in the Quarter finals.
