Tonight, rain will become confined to far north-eastern Scotland before clearing away later. Elsewhere, it will be mostly cloudy with a few patches of rain in the west. Clear spells in the far east.
Friday
Tomorrow, the south will be cloudy with some light rain for a time but it will turn dry, sunnier and warmer later in the day. Variable cloud in the north, with showers in north-western areas. Breezy.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
On Saturday, central and northern areas will have variable cloud, with a few showers across north-western England and Scotland. Staying breezy. Sunday is set to be largely dry with sunny spells and variable cloud. Winds will ease. Monday looks to be a partly cloudy day, and later in the evening, some showers are possible in the north and the west. Trending warmer.
