Tonight, central areas of the UK will be cloudy with a more organised area of heavy showers moving southwards, some locally thundery. Elsewhere will see variable cloud cover and scattered showers.
Thursday
Tomorrow, there will be a mixture of sunny spells, areas of variable cloud, and scattered showers. The showers will be heavy in the south, with a chance of lightning and hail.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Friday will see a continuation of the sunny spells and showers. Again, heavier in the south and still thundery in places. Trending cooler. Drier and sunnier on Saturday, with just the odd light shower in spots. Mostly sunny and dry on Sunday, but cloudier towards the far north with a few light showers.
