Largely dry and sunny across England and Wales, but parts of northern England and Wales may see the odd thundery shower in the afternoon. Spells of heavy rain in northern Scotland.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Friday will see a band of showers push eastwards across the UK, possibly turning thundery for northern and central England and eastern Wales. Further thundery showers possible for eastern England on Saturday but drier and sunnier elsewhere. Showers at times for Scotland. Largely dry and cloudy on Sunday with spells of rain moving in from the west later in the night.
