Mario is a seven-year-old ball of energy who lives in Sicily, a huge island right at the bottom of Italy. His house is overlooked by Mount Etna, a live volcano. Mario has lots of fun playing with his brother and sister. They are lucky to have a swimming pool in their garden and love escaping from the hot sun by playing in the pool.
