Hello there. I’m Darrell Rivers and I’ve just started attending Malory Towers. Will you be my pen pal? I’ll write to you each week and it would be lovely to have you write back.

Text reads: Malory Towers is so beautiful and the girls in my year are super fun and I\u2019ve already made a wonderful new freind called Alicia. I seem to have fallen into bad favour with Matron just because of a tiny rip in my dress which happened when I was getting back my hat at the railway station. If I didn\u2019t have my hat, I would have been in even more trouble, I imagine. The best thing so far has been a midnight feast! I asked if Gwen should be invited but Alicia said no, which probably wasn\u2019t the nicest thing to do as now Gwen seems to have it in for me. I really didn\u2019t mean to push her into the pool but luckily I didn\u2019t get asked to leave Malory Towers\u2026 Unlike St Hilda's\u2026 That midnight feast was delicious though \u2013 what would you most like to eat at a midnight feast?.

Text reads - Dear all my new freinds, Thank you so much for your lovely letters. I enjoyed hearing about your midnight feasts but I must admit it made me very hungry. Cakes, chocolates and biscuits would definately be on the top my list, as they were with a lot of you. And I really apreciate liked your words of kindness saying that I deserve a fresh start at Malory Towers, that\u2019s all I really want. The less said about St Hilda\u2019s, the better. Some of you think Gwen is not a nice person but others say it was mean not to invite her to the midnight feast. I\u2019ll keep trying to see the best in her, I want to be freinds with everyone really. Darrell.
