How to make pan con tomate y aceite

Ingredients:

  • 2 tomatoes ()

  • 1 ciabatta or baguette loaf ()

  • 1 peeled clove of garlic ()

  • extra-virgin olive oil ()

  • salt () for seasoning

Important note!

This recipe uses a knife so make sure you ask an adult to help you.

Method:

  1. Cut () the tomatoes in half () and grate () them, throwing away the leftover skin.

  2. Season the pulp () with a sprinkle of salt.

  3. Ask an adult to cut the bread into thin slices.

  4. Lightly toast them.

  5. Once toasted and cooled slightly, pour () over a little olive oil and rub () the garlic into each slice.

  6. Spoon () the tomato mixture onto the bread and enjoy ()!
