Ruston & Hornsby Stationary Engine

This Stationary Ruston & Hornsby Engine has been owned by its current owner Bill Smith for 17 years. When he bought the engine it was in a rough condition and he has lovingly renovated and restored the engine, including painting and cleaning it.
It was originally used to power other types of machinery, the current owners use it to power a Bentall Corn Mill, (as shown in picture) to grind corn and they even use the flour to make bread!

Ruston & Hornsby Engines were shipped all over the world and it is reported that they are still in use today in some third world counties.
