This Douglas Taskmaster Aircraft Tractor has been owned by its current owner Jim Kerr for around five years. When he bought the aircraft tractor it was in terrible state, a "wreck". Since then he has carefully rebuilt, renovated and restored the tractor: including the engine, body and cosmetic work.
The Douglas Taskmaster's original purpose was to taxi aircraft from hangers to the airfield; and according to the owner pulled Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancaster's.
