This is the first driving licence to be held by John Warnett. He is BBC Radio Kent's Breakfast presenter. The licence is dated 25 April 1975 and is very simplistic when compared to modern licences. On one of the insde pages you can see that the fee payable for the licence is £1. It was issued by Greater London Council. On another page you can see the details of an endorsement John was issued with at Bexley Petty Sessional Court. He was fined £10 for driving without due care. Unlike a modern licence there was no requirement for a photograph to be displayed.
