 Son of a music professor (dad) and concert pianist (mum), brother of a violinist and a cellist, grandson of record shop owners.

Bonafide went gold, selling more than a million copies.
By the age of 9 he played the piano and keyboards, and sang, by 16 he also played bass and drums.

Recently left Sanctuary Records run by Beyonce's dad, saying, "I have never sold less than gold on any previous label situation. I understand that Sanctuary is an independent label, but "Stronger Everyday" is probably my best album to date and there was no support behind it."
The track Everytime from Stronger Everyday begins features Dirt McGirt (O.D.B).
Before this album, Jon lost his whole recording studio in a fire. He wrote a track about the experience.
