Retired shop worker Patricia Brown, 62, from Dunfermline, wanted all tolls scrapped.

She said: "They said we would only have to pay tolls on the Forth Road Bridge until the bill to pay for it had been paid off.

"Therefore I believe we should stick to that and not pay tolls any more on the existing bridge."
