"We just woke up and thought we’d spilt a bottle of water," says Alex Tcher (left), 20, from near Yeovil, whose tent was waterlogged.

"But it just got wetter and wetter. I'm just going to forget it – go to some dance tent or something."

Friend James Pearson, also 20, added: "I'm quite lucky because I'm on a lilo, so I was just floating.
