Bryant Jones, 17, would like to move to Houston. He has a brother and friends there but is not sure his mother will go.

"In Texas I know more people," he says.

He was about to begin his last year of high school when Hurricane Katrina hit.

"I didn't get a chance to start my college applications."

He hopes to be an obstetrician.
