The firstof the RAF's Eurofighter jets - to be known as the Typhoon in the UK - made its first public outing at the Farnborough Air Show on Tuesday..

The government has ordered 232 of the Eurofighter planes, costing around £30m each, to replace the ageing Tornado and Jaguar ground-attack aircraft.
