In pictures: Aardman emoticons
Microsoft has released 25 new emoticons designed by the people behind Wallace and Gromit to mark the launch of its new Tablet PC.
The collection was drawn by a director at Aardman Animations.
Microsoft says the new emoticons will give people the more freedom to express themselves.
Its research shows that nearly two-thirds of e-mailers believe emoticons make it easier to express what they mean.
