Poster proves a rail attraction
Poster appearing in Glasgow underground stations
Female commuters have been hot under the collar
A poster featuring a semi-naked man has been given a second run at Glasgow's underground stations because of female demand, according to rail bosses.

Pulses were set racing over the sexy advert featuring the man lying in bed hugging a pillow.

The caption reads: Underground trains every four minutes - That's an extra fifteen minutes with Britney.

Due to its popularity, Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT) has decided to rerun the adverts at all 15 subway stations in Glasgow and 150 bus stops in the city.

Transport staff said they received hundreds of letters and e-mails from females in the city asking to see the poster again.

Perhaps our female travellers like looking at a poster of male flesh for a change

SPT spokesman

A spokesman for SPT said: "This has been very unexpected and it is the first time we have reintroduced a campaign because of requests like this.

"We've had requests made to ticket offices as well as letters and e-mails commenting on the campaign, or rather commenting on the young man on the poster."

One woman was allegedly caught on security camera stroking the poster - which features 24-year-old Edinburgh model Cameron McGarva - on a stairwell.

"I'm not sure why the posters have proved so popular, but they definitely seem to have made an impression on the people who use the subway," the spokesman added.

"Perhaps our female travellers like looking at a poster of male flesh for a change, and of course any reminder of Britney Spears always proves popular with the male contingent as well."
