Picture Gallery: Peace day concert
Stars including Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart and Neneh Cherry lined up to perform at a concert in London on Saturday to celebrate World Peace Day.
The show, at Brixton Academy, also included video messages from United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan and the Dalai Lama. Here are images of some of the performers:

Dave Stewart and Jimmy Cliff's video of Peace One Day, written specially for the concert, was shown
Faithless front man Maxi Jazz performed for the UN International Day of Peace
Trainspotting actor Johnny Lee Miller added his voice to the evening
Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin business and music empire, also spoke to the Brixton audience
