Teamwork is key to social success
Leicestershire housing estate
Residents groups have been formed on many housing estates
A residents group in Leicestershire Earl Shilton is being hailed as an example of the best way to deal with nuisance neighbours.

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council says it is often impossible to deal with anti-social behaviour unless local communities work together.

The Astra Residents Group in Earl Shilton is said to be an example of the ways in which various agencies can work together.

Anti-Social Behaviour Co-ordinator for the Borough, Ron Grantham, said: "On this estate the residents said they had had enough and spoke to the council and other groups.

"They make it clear to everyone what they regarded as anti-social behaviour and that it had to stop."

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council says it is areas with residents groups which have proved most successful in dealing with nuisance neighbours.
