Man charged with fan's murder
Scene of the incident
Fighting had broken out in St James's Street
An 18-year-old man has been charged with murdering a Nottingham Forest football fan in Lancashire on Saturday.

Nathan Shaw, 17, died after fighting broke out outside a pub before Forest's game with Burnley.

Mr Shaw, of Aspley, Nottinghamshire, died just after 1030 GMT on Sunday following the incident in St James's Street in the town centre.

Andrew McNee, of Haslingden, is due to appear before Burnley Magistrates on Wednesday.

The street is about a mile from Burnley's Turf Moor ground.

Mr Shaw's family was at his bedside in the Royal Preston Hospital when he died.

He had been initially taken to Burnley General Hospital before being moved to Preston.
