Mother cries foul over dog mess
Dog with stick
Thoughtless dog owners are causing a problem
A Cumbrian woman is leading a campaign to stop dogs fouling her local footpath.

Mother-of-two Susie Moss from Great Corby regularly walks along a nearby footpath to drop her children off at school.

The youngest one is two-years-old and Ms Moss is tired of having to remove dog mess from her daughter's buggy and shoes.

She said: "I am having to drag the buggy through dog mess.

Daughter's shoes

"There has been a time when I have dragged it through the house on her buggy wheels. I now have to leave it outside the house."

Most of the warning notices against dogs fouling the footpath have been torn down by vandals.

Now Ms Moss is providing plastic bags at the footpath for dog owners to clean up canine mess, and has also written a poem to highlight the problem.
