Peres praise for Obama prize

Israeli President Shimon Peres has congratulated US President Barack Obama on winning the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

Mr Peres said he was "encouraged" by the recognition of the Nobel commission, and congratulated Mr Obama "from the bottom" of his heart.
