Deputy calls for compost closure
States members are being asked to investigate health concerns surrounding the composting plant at La Collette and to shut it down in the meantime.

Residents have already raised concerns about the effect on their health.

Now Deputy Paul le Claire is asking the States to consider shutting the plant while the issue is investigated.

He wants parishes to take over responsibility for composting but the Comite de Connetables wants to find a single site for a new plant.
