Altered States guide is published
A guide on how Jersey's government will change this year is being published to help people understand how the new system will work.

The ministerial system arrives in December, replacing the current one.

The current committee system will be abolished and replaced by a Council of Ministers and scrutiny panels.

The model has taken several years to shape and is not complete with wrangles over who should be elected and who will continue after the system is running.

Policy and Resources has published a six page leaflet to spell out how it will change.

It is being given to public employees and is available online or at the library and parish halls.
