Four French waste disposal experts are visiting Jersey to suggest alternative ways to get rid of rubbish.
The experts, from three companies, will give evidence on Thursday to a review committee looking at the island's waste disposal problem.
The incinerator at Bellozanne needs to replaced, but the States is unsure how to get rid of the island's rubbish.
The committee is looking at plans put forward by Public Services on the matter and hopes to find alternatives.
The three companies represented are Sirec, Spen and Oxalor - all French organisations specialising in different ways of getting rid of rubbish.
The experts will make presentations to the committee.
