Consultation delays homes plans
A debate on whether homes should be built on a field in the Jersey parish of St Saviour has been delayed.

Plans from the Environment and Public Services Committee were due to be discussed in the States.

It wants land near Bagot Manor Farm to be set aside for homes for first time buyers and States tenants.

But the parish deputy Rob Duhamel said it had not properly consulted people living nearby and members delayed the debate for consultation with locals.
