Ageing school set to be replaced
The only primary school in Jersey with outdoor toilets is to be replaced.

The States are being asked to approve plans for the new primary school at St Clement, which will have 175 pupils, including a 30-place nursery.

The current primary school in St Clement is split into two, with a main road running in between.

The Education Authority says that is a safety hazard and causes problems when teachers need to move the children between the buildings.

It also says the rooms in the old building are not big enough for the growing number of children that are taught there.
