Planners consider beauty spot plans
Bouley Bay
Bouley Bay is popular with divers
A decision on plans to improve facilities for divers and holidaymakers at Jersey's Bouley Bay could be made on Wednesday.

Planning officials will consider improvements for beachgoers at the beauty spot as well as a new cricket pavilion in a field in St Martin.

The plans for Bouley Bay were submitted in November.

The area is popular with divers who will be catered for with new shower and changing facilities which will replace the old toilet block which dates from the 1960s.

Crop maze

The development also includes a cafe which has a balcony stretching out over the sea.

In a separate application the Jersey Farmers Cricket Club is applying for permission to build a wooden cricket pavilion at La Vignette Farm in St Martin.

And there are also plans to convert a farm reservoir for recreational fishing.

The owners of La Hougue Farm in St Peter also want to make their crop maze a permanent feature.
